VERMONT BIG GAME TROPHY CLUB

If you have a trophy deer, bear, moose or turkey you would like to have scored for entry into the Vermont Big Game Trophy Club records keeping program please send us an email on the contact page or call Curtis Smiley at 802.849.2986.

We will provide contact information for the nearest certified measurer.

There is a $20.00 entry fee for deer , bear and moose.

There is a $15.00 entry fee for turkey.

We have certified official measurers on staff who can measure for the following clubs:

Vermont Big Game Trophy Club

Boone and Crockett Club

Pope and Young Club

Maine Antler & Skull Trophy Club

New Hampshire Antler & Skull Trophy Club

DEER

We use the Boone & Crockett Club measuring system, but we record the gross score (before any deductions). We give the buck full credit for everything he grew.

Minimum score of 110" for all typical categories and 115" for all nontypical categories.

MOOSE

We use the Boone & Crockett Club measuring system, but we record the gross score (before any deductions). We give the moose full credit for everything he grew.

Any weapon - Minimum score of 155".

Archery / Muzzleloader - Minimum score of 135"

Minimum score of 17 8/16".

TURKEY

We use the National Wild Turkey Federation measuring system.

Begining in 2013 the minimum score will be 65.

To enter a turkey in the records program you must have it officially weighed. Weigh the turkey whole at an official State of Vermont Big Game Check Station. Have the weigh station fill out and sign a Vermont Big Game Trophy Club "Turkey Entry Form" (green card). Save the beard and spurs for measuring by an official measurer of the Vermont Big Game Trophy Club. Contact us for the name of the nearest official measurer. After measuring, send in the weight card,the score sheet, and the 15.00 entry fee.
